Touching upon the availability to pirated bearings, he advised that it would be best to seek branded bearings from the distributors of those companies. A planetary gear bearing could cost between Rs 450 and Rs 800. A crankcase bearing could cost as much as Rs 2,500.
High growth potential
If an industry expert is to be believed, the organised bearing market in India accounts for a little over 60 per cent.
