Dozco now markets its own manufactured products in global market
Dozco has 60 per cent of its total business from parts supply in the after sales market for all kind of construction and mining equipments and 40 per cent from equipment and its parts for which Dozco is authorised distributor. Pankaj Kumar, Vice President (Equipment Sales), Dozco (India), explains the company?s strengths in the market and its expectations on the market.
What is the range of ground engaging tools and excavator buckets supplied by Dozco?
Dozco supplies ground engaging tools for 2 to 120 T class excavators, backhoe loaders, motor graders, wheel loaders etc. Our famous line of products includes tooth, adapter, pin, lock, side cutter, end bit, edge cutting, plow bolt, nuts and different types of GET and wear parts to suit all kind of mining and construction equipment. Dozco manufactures mining buckets, Kawasaki loader buckets and Yanmar mini excavator buckets at its Vizag plant.
Do you undertake refurbishment jobs?
We do not take any refurbishment jobs. Over a period of time, Dozco has changed the equipment portfolio being sold and serviced by them.
Do you have any plans for setting manufacturing unit in India?
Dozco has already entered the manufacture since January 2013 with manufacturing facilities of its own brands of components for construction, mining and material handling equipment. It has installed state-of-the-art machinery with the latest technology and follows quality management system in practice.
What is the current portfolio? How do you service the customers who had procured equipment of earlier brands and range?
Dozco presently holds Indian national distributorship of internationally reputed manufacturers like Kawasaki wheel loaders, Yanmar mini excavator, Hidromek motor grader (formerly Mitsubishi brand) Roadtec milling machine, asphalt paver, stabiliser, screeds and material transfer vehicles, Shantui dozers and Indeco for hydraulic breakers.
It also holds distributorship of the most exclusive range of spare parts suitable for all world renowned brands of HEMM like under carriage, GET, engine parts, filters, bearings, lights, tyres, fasteners, hydraulic pumps, motors and travel devices, brake parts, Loadrite - the ultimate in onboard weighing systems and other consumable spares for mining and construction equipment.
Dozco has 30 branches all over India and has advantages to provide after sales service to all customers across the country. Being pioneer in supply of parts for all kind of construction and mining equipment, Dozco supports other existing customers for all kind of other equipment. Hence it has the capability and confidence to support during dealership and further.
Do you supply crawler undercarriage components and spare assemblies? What is the product range available?
Dozco manufactures undercarriage for 20 to 30 T class excavators at its facility in Vizag. The company supplies complete undercarriage assembly of ITM, DCF and R-BRAND from 2T to 200T class excavators, shovels, dozers, drilling machines, apron feeder, etc. The products include track guard, track rollers, carrier rollers, sprockets, sprocket segments, idlers end collars, heli coils, track adjusters, track shoes and link assemblies etc.
Could you elaborate on the percentage contributions to your business from each of your product lines?

Dozco has started marketing its own manufactured products such as rock breaker/hammer, tools (chisels), hydraulic quick coupler, bucket, undercarriage such as track link assembly complete with rollers, sprockets, idlers, GET etc, in the global market.
How do you look at the future?
Dozco predicts good prospect of business envisaging the high potential in infrastructure and construction sector and expects good business with its manufactured products besides establishing its own brand image in the infrastructure and construction sector.
