Irish Cranes takes delivery of three MRT189 tower cranes
?The MRT189 owned by KPH, with a jib length of 65 m on cross base and height under hook (HUH) of 42 m, is equipped with the Deluxe R16 Crane Cabin,? said Dave Coffey, Depot Manager, Irish Cranes. The crane, already operational onsite, will primarily be working on demolition and concrete core. ?Irish Cranes has added two new MRT189s to our existing fleet, bringing our heavy lifting machinery total to 37 cranes, with one of the duo already at work participating in the build of a new Dublin residential complex. Most notably, our newest cranes are the first Raimondi MRT189s to be sold in Ireland that implement the newly launched 45 kW winch design,? said Coffey.
The Raimondi MRT189 10 tonne two falls (two lines) is equipped with the new 45 kW winch, and boasts improved ease of use due to the single hook block. The two new MRT189s, fitted with Deluxe R16 Crane Cabins, have 65 m jib lengths and HUHs of 42 m.
?With this advancement in engineering design, it is no longer necessary to switch from the two falls configuration to the four falls configuration to activate the crane?s best performance,? said Eng. Domenico Ciano, Chief Operations Officer, Raimondi Cranes.
