Sany, in association with CII, organises vaccination drive for employees
Sany India, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment—in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)—held a special vaccination drive for its employees, financers, suppliers and business associations like ICEMA and Chakan Industries Association along with their family members at its Pune campus, in Chakan. As many as 1400 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 at the vaccination camp.
Inaugurating the vaccination drive, Deepak Garg, Chairman CII Pune Zonal Council and Managing Director, Sany India said, “The health and well-being of Sany family is our utmost priority. Amidst this unprecedented time – as the whole world is racing to get inoculated, Sany India decided to facilitate free doses of vaccines for our employees.”
“Since the vaccine is a crucial tool to beat Covid-19; we are encouraging everyone to get inoculated within time. With this vaccine programme, Sany India aims to create a safe and conducive environment to work.”
Adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines, the vaccination drive was smoothly conducted with minimum waiting times and in utmost sanitised and safe conditions.
It is noteworthy that Sany India has been consistently stepping up its efforts to fight the pandemic through its innovative measures and preventive care. Around 300 plus oxygen concentrators and ventilators and one Oxygen Plant were donated to needy establishments in and around Pune. The company has also launched a Covid care helpline number for all its employees, customers, dealers & their family members. Some of the significant services offered by the helpline include virtual doctor consultation, assistance in securing bed, oxygen, plasma, and ambulance services.
