We expect to see a growth of 10-12percent
JCB will exhibit its entire range of Made in India machines at the show, says Jasmeet Singh, Head - Corporate Communications and External Relations, JCB India Ltd.

The year 2016 has been positive for the earthmoving and construction equipment (ECE) industry - primarily owing to the growth in the roads and highways sector. The CE industry has overall grown by 45 per cent in the months of January to October in 2016 as compared with the same period in 2015.

Now the government?s immediate focus will be to ensure that growth is sustained as that will set the pace for the coming years. Sectors such as railway, irrigation, urban rejuvenation and power offer immense growth potential that can be tapped.

The long term sustained growth will largely depend on how the infrastructure industry evolves. We are however quite hopeful that sustained growth with lead to demand in the ECE sector. As the economy would further stabilise, we expect to see a growth of 10-12 per cent in the coming years.
